What happened to the Japanese work ethic. I think it is a fairly typical workday scene. 2 or 3 people doing the work and the rest standing around with their hands in their pockets.

Actually, Dude, you don't acknowledge the joke at all as far as I can see. You use the unfamiliar expression 'on first blush' which is a new one to me.' On first blush' ( whatever that means ) agreed and then consulted an F-15 book. All lost in mid-Atlantic, no doubt. ;)
