I appreciate this issue has been resolved by use of a newer version, but felt this should be clarified for more general reasons as I don't think it has been mentioned already:
Some people use xml files uncompressed - they will work but they do litter your gauges directory with subdirectories and a load of files. Always best to recompile, in my opinion.

I would be surprised if that worked. You should create FS gauge xml files with a utility called cabdir.exe. You will probably find this in the root directory of FS2004, or can download from Microsoft as part of the panels SDK.stumpy wrote:In the past, i solved this problem by unziping the file VC810.CAB renaming the filmes and zipping it again.
