I did my jumps out of a 206 Trev so you don't need to spoil it with a Caravan ;) I don't think there are any FSX Skyvans but that would also do (though not there in my day) :)

They currently use a Dornier Do-28 and before that a baby Antonov (which crashed!!).

Surprise us Trev.. but not like the UK2000 Duxford. Flew the new freeware Tiggie there from Old Warden this afternoon and found a 747, MD83 and 2 x B52's parked where the Comet, Trident e t c are parked  There were more but I was too gobsmacked to continue

Another fine addition there Trev. :)

BTW Dave, I replaced all the statics @ Duxford ;)

Share please DG

Thats my only pet hate with the UK2000 stuff, all of those statics litering the place... Culdrose with an F18 and Blackhawks... :wall:

I am always being told that is very difficult to do!! Hopefully you can share some of those in future Dave, they would look good at my planned Wisley and RAE Bedford!

Oh yes.. share indeed ;)

Last time I was at Dux in FSX was with your beta DG. A long time has passed since and I didn't really know what to expect when I got there! Wasn't sure if UK2000 VFR vol2 went that for or if I'd stumble over your version OR the default. What I DID find was a lot of sea (I kid you not.. SEA) inbetween Old Warden and Fowlmere (onwards) so I'm guessing something isn't right or Cambridge has had rather more rain than WE have  Truth is.. the more I add to FSX, the worse it gets so while shocked.. I was a little amused too ;)

Whatever.. the combination version looks to be far the best (even though the Catalina can't land with it's gear up)

Damn

Finally something that would tempt me into making the change to FSX :) WOTG looks fantastic, and as I've also done the Sport Parachute course, arrived several times from the side door of C130s and done guard commander there, it is somewhere that I'm quite fond of

I have scenery for most of the RAF bases where I was stationed, plus the airports that I've worked at since, WOTG would almost complete the set (a nice Belize wouldn't go amiss if anyone knows of one) and if I have to go over to the dark side to do it, FSX here we come

Thanks guys, it is now almost done.

I have added some moving traffic and an AI Cessna 208 (which may change to something else, if I can find something more suitable as a jump aircraft) as well as a tidy up all round. I decided not to use grass runway textures, as the actual runways are just mown (not very straight either  ) strips in the grass. In FSX runways have to be straight!!

If all things are equal, it should be available in time for the weekend.
