Hi Airboatr.I take on board(what a horrible phrase!) what you say re film vs digital,to which end the most precious family/social slides are being retained after storage on DVD and external HDD and many of the avaiation slides, very many of which have not yet been posted here will be passed on to an acquaintance of mine who runs the 'Airtrans' aviation hobby shop at East Mids. These photos are also being transferred to DVD and HDD.He still has contact with some of the people who feature in some of the slides and is himself an absolute aviation nut!Fact is they take up so much storage space and also they were just not being looked at.We have seen so many long forgotten images and of course there has been the great pleasure in emailing some of these long forgotten photos to the folks or their descendants who have been utterley surprised to see them. However,it's still a pain in the ar$e to do them!Best wishes EricT
ps there are still plenty more to come!

Hi Peter.I'm not quite with you on this. The photo was taken as seen and the nearest Vulcan had just landed whereas I suspect that the furhest one had landed and vacated the runway.Maybe I'm missing something here.Hope yoy are keeping well.EricT

Peter,
the last picture is at waddo, the vulcan with chute is on the main, and the vulcan looking like it's head on is either taxiing or parked on the southern taxiway, they had dispersals over there
