Strange how when looking at images like these I feel that they represent a time of stability and normality in life.I'm sure that someone like Sir John Betjemen would have expressed it much more poetically than I ever could.Magic.EricT

Well not sure I would call it a properly built engine, the proper engines were all built at Eastleigh and Brighton
