I thought the FS9 727 VC was useable, but limited. Certainly the FE panel isn't useable in the VC, but pilot and co-pilot were both eminantly useable. I have TrackIR and won't use a plane without a useable VC any more...

I have the complete C130 and 727 packages for FSX, plus their weather radar which is thrown in free with the latest 727 update.
Won't be buying anything more from them this time, but the B-52 ( with its completed VC ) is on the list for next time. Or come the first sale after its released anyway - you know what I mean.

Don't hide Garry, you're only expressing an opinion!
Actually, kinda with you there anyway - I used to run the Legendary 707, but HJG have got that more than covered off now in my book, as they now also have with the 727. I've got the F-104, but only because there is no decent alternative (apart from the much better, but more expensive still, Cloud9 offering) - and I do run the C-130, happy enough with it, so that would be the only thing worth considering (apart from the C-130J, no attempt to produce a cockpit worth having).

I have interest in the 757 for FSX
Fodda, what do you think of the overall appearance and flyability of the model.
You mentioned the FMC is operable , which is a plus for me
I have a full lenght instructional video on 757 given to me by a former 757 pilot.
If your interested I could share it

but it is , a little (boring emoticon needed)
Anyway .. I was thinking I'd see if the instructor in the video actually taught me something

I've ordered the 757 from Amazon.I have been thinking about this one for a while because I already use the LeveldD 767,which I think is one of the best.I wondered whether there would be too much similarity to be challenging enough. In the real world I believe that crews can fly both types o the same rating.Of course,FS is not the real world(is it?).Let's see what happens!
ps I am still using FS9 and I know that there is a SP update from Just Flight.EricT

Hi Joe..
The FS9 version is pretty evil on my 3gb dualcore mate. I can't see the FSX version being any better unless you have the system from hell to run it on.

There was a lot said about it being a framerate monster

when released
Queries to as weather swinging coats on the coathooks was really needed
However systems get more powerful all the time so maybe worth getting at a bargain even if it will only really come into it's own later

ahh. I guess I'll be needing a
old priest and a
young priest with a machine like that then.

Nick Gaf didn't think swinging on a coathanger in the cloak room in third grade was a good idea But Like the Captain Sim 757 ...it was done anyway.
PS
before you think I'm a big meanie
The fink brought in a replacement paddle for the one the teach broke over my friends hand a few day before
.. any way you'll be happy to know the janitor saved him
..... why did that come up?
Thanks fo rthe info Garry , Dave ... I got notta from Fodda
