Its good news to here that there will be another Flight Simulator released.
Would hate to think what you would need to run this new version of FS.

Considering I bought a very high spec PC just before last Christmas, with one of the first DX11 spec 1GB gfx cards and I can't run FSX on max makes me wonder......not in a good way either.

Weighing up this new sim and the costs of a fresh PC thats gonna run it.
I reckon its potentially cheaper to go for your PPL and part share a C172.
That really is as real as it gets...

I have a quad i7 920 that I've overclocked to 3.8 GHz, but can't even run the video smoothly

Saying that my desktop i7 PC struggled to run that video.
Not sure why?
Can't see me changing from FSX for a long time. Especially since my wife is carrying a mini Vegas.

You aint missing much mate. Its not that good. I reckon the finished article will be very much more scaled down than the clip we saw.
