I like the paint scheme on the Belfast that is already preserved . Very clean and simple looking.

I thought the Belfasts Tynes were incompatible with the Vanguard?

Exactly wrong mate As Garry said.. the Belfast is the only aircraft with compatible Tynes which is why HL wanted our 4 engines a couple of years back

Yes indeed. A LOT of politics behind the scenes.. stuff being owed.. stuff being taken in lieu e t c. There are of course common components between engine variations so HL were keen to get their hands on whatever came their way
