It's payware mate so you don't need to qualify your comment.
I know a bad car when I see one and would say so but could never make one

Thats great Darren very good
Yes she seems to have very heavy lines on the fuselage mind you she was built like a boat[pardon the pun!] plates and rivets, i will just have to wait and see if we get any more info, considering the work and price i would have thought a Video would have helped,
Just a bit of useless info, my Father and Uncle both worked on the Sunderland at Shorts of Rochester before WW2 and my Uncle was a thin lad and his job was to work inside the wings helping to do some of those rivets!!
Nice to talk to you guys,
Cheers,
Roger.

Ther chances are Dan Dunn (a member here) may have something to do with it as he has worked on most FCS stuff in the past year or so. His models are now first rate, but the proof of the pudding etc, etc! We should at least wait until it comes out, before making comments...as happy/unhappy customers!

That's very true Trev but.. you don't see Rolls Royce putting out shots of part painted cars now do you or any other manufacturer for that matter. You put out a duff WIP shot and expect to get it shot at. UKMIL was great at doing that.. Here's my latest and greatest.. yeh but that's wrong.. yeh, I know.. I've already fixed it!
I'm sure it will be well received come Dec 1st

Look at this one...its bloody ridiculous!
http://www.simshack.net/images/sunderla ... 2004-9.jpg
It looks more a product of Harland & Wolff than Short Brothers. Doesn't
anybody look at these things during the development process and say 'Thats not right'. Doesn't anyone cast even a cursory eye over it ? Its the wood textures on the Wellington all over again. Who is beta-testing this shite and why are they not saying...its shite ! ?
Words fail me.

I can't even begin to think where they got that idea from. I haven't seen a single photo of a Sunderland that looks like that. I know Jasper Maskelyne created some decoys in the Egyptian desert to fool the Germans but they were canvas tanks and lorries, nothing made of stone, certainly not aircraft. I think they would sink.
Has it been stone cladded by Stan & Hilda Ogden?
