In FSX use ALT+Spacebar and that resets to the normal view. Also IIRC there is an icon identified as 'i' on the panel. Click in this and it provides additional click points for altering views and the centre icon resets the view.

That's useful, John -- thanks. It must be among that long list of viewing shortcuts I've yet to penetrate.JohnD wrote:In FSX use ALT+Spacebar and that resets to the normal view
I guess I'm not much of an "icon guy"!Also IIRC there is an icon identified as 'i' on the panel. Click in this and it provides additional click points for altering views and the centre icon resets the view.
Best wishes,

Ref my post above it should read Ctrl+Spacebar. Sorry for any confusion.
The spacebar used on its own works once for each flight, then you need to use Ctrl+Spacebar. Another quirk of FSX.

Re: Setting the POV shown when pressing a numberpad key
Roger that. When I tried Alt+spacebar, I must've thought I'd misremembered what you'd said, since I switched to Ctrl+spacebar. I'm not so keen on it, though, as I find it easier to press the numberpad's "5" with my right hand. (Admittedly, my yoke-with-keyboard-pushed-away-behind-it isn't the most ergonomic arrangement...)JohnD wrote:Ref my post above it should read Ctrl+Spacebar. Sorry for any confusion ......
