There must be a massive time lapse here (or there) Joe

No.. Joe's original link never worked for me either so I noted the pid= number and adjusted the link (live) to match. As was mentioned.. it never indicated at any point the model was going to be free until the promo code 'FREEARCHER' was entered which reset the figure to £0.00. I'm a bit dubious I may have had something I shouldn't have had and am now awaiting a ticking off from Just Flight :worried: Being a JF account holder, I'd have expected to get the HU from them but I haven't. We shall see ;)

Nice for now but it's not a model I'm likely to fly and certainly not one I'd have bought. There's nowt wrong with it but this isn't what I fly :)

Joe

Peter Watkins got the Archer as well -- leave a note for him over at the Pond and I am sure he will oblige you in between knocking out British reg'd ones

Thanks for the hu, Joe. And thank you Dave for the details on how to download the Archer. Worked like a charm. :)

I'm sure you're entitled, Dave :agree: As an account holder I had an email from them a couple of days ago with the download info so I don't know why you got missed. That was a handy tip about changing the nationality. I was disappointed to see French aircraft only and I'd already deleted the icon on the desktop because I didn't know what it was :wasntme:

I've now got British ones, but like you I'm not that interested in flying it unless there's another little program that converts it to jet engines

Ian :)

That would be an interesting ride Ian

Now.. you saying you got a HU some days ago, it's likely I did too. The beauty of using a Mailwasher program is that you get to see what's waiting and if you're not interested, you bin it at the server. I'd no intention of buying anything off JF so probably binned it :worried:

Let me know if the 'jet' version comes along Ian as I'll probably bin the notification without reading it

Seems to be a number of switches not working.... *-)

The lights... The cabin lights are not switchable
and the GPS is not usable, besides the Nav of the autopilot not functionable..
The click function of enlarging a panel component on the GPS yeilds a MSFS default GPS , not the one seen in the panel

I'm sure these things should work in a model made to this level of detail..
I'm off to do a little more checking but I'm having a feeling this is a knocked down version of the PAY version. If so

Well I'm not going to say, no reason to be spiteful as some are in the habit of doing......

.... isn't
