AD..

A quick look at WOAI shows some of the packs available for your region..
New Zealand..
Air Chathams - Winter 08
Pacific Blue - Summer 08
Air New Zealand Link - Su08
Quantas Jetconnect - Su07
Air New Zealand - Win09

Australia..
Tiger Airways - Win09
Skippers - Su08
Vaustralia - Su09
Air North - Su08
Regional Pacific - Su08
National Jet Systems - Su08
Norfolk Air - Su08
Sky West - Su08
Air Link - Su08
SkyAirWorld - Su08
Regional Express - Su08
Quantas Link - Su08
JetStar - Su07
Virgin Blue - Su08
Quantas - can't remember the season

Go a little further and you could add Air Pacific (Fiji) and a gallon of others. You can fill your virtual skies with as much AI as your PC can handle using these packs and all with the few clicks of a mouse button. You don't have to worry about aircraft or airports or flightplans.. everything is included in the airline packs you download. If you go down this route, can I suggest you download the WOAI installer and create a folder for it then drag the zip contents into the new folder. Then.. create another folder called something like WOAI packs and download all the packs into this folder. It keeps things tidy and you'll know where everything is :) Should you wish, you could even remove the default traffic file located in your FS/World/Scenery folder (the file is traffic030528.bgl) and keep it in a safe place but OUT of the /World/Scenery folder. This will remove all the default rubbish but.. it will also remove the GA AI unless you fiddle with it (and I don't advise that!) :)

I am looking to make some AI for the Marshall Islands airports.

... and? *-) You don't say a lot do you

What sort of AI are you looking at.. commercial or GA? Modern or historic? Do none of the airlines I listed above fly there? Which airlines DO fly there? Which airports in the Marshall Islands are you looking at.. all of them? Are they all covered in FS and if not, you'll have to make your own and I'm not going there! Not all airports in FS are suitable for AI, especially very small ones. They may have a runway but that could be all. If they don't have parking in FS, AI won't go there (this might be why you don't see any now).

Have a think about it and when you have a better idea of what you want, let us know ;)

EDIT..
I've looked at the Marshall Islands in FS9 (not the American flagged islands which surround them) and only one has a suitable AI airport.. PKMJ. Scenery for the area is available which adds many others which I guess you're going to have to download (free on Flightsim.com.. type Marshall Islands into the search engine). Also available at flightsim.com (from the same search as Marshall Islands) are repaints and model for AMI's Dornier 228 and one should be available for their Dash8 at Avsim.com. The skies are never going to be full with the national carrier only having 2 aircraft but it's going to take rather more work than just adding AI I'm afraid.

Still looking to see what other airports there are that could do with some AI. Have noticed that AI for the Marshall islands are hard to find. Would be looking for both GA and airline traffic.

AD..

As mentioned above, it's pointless you looking for suitable AI airfields there unless you download the Marshall Islands scenery/airports update (available at Flightsim.com). Only one airport (PKMJ) will accept AI with the default FS9 scenery.. the update file addresses that issue. The filename is mrshlisl.zip and it adds 21 airfields to the islands and puts facilities at airfields that currently have none. Download it and see what you think. The file also includes AI flightplans for the AMI fleet (then, 2 Dorniers and a Dash 8.. now one Dornier and a Dash8) :)

I have downloaded the Marshall Islands scenery from flightsim.com and one of the AI planes crashed FS2004.

Hi AD :hello:

Are you certain it was an aeroplane?..........scenary can doo odd things if not set up but that's odd for an aeroplaneto do it *-)

Don't know. One minute I am sitting at PKMJ checking it out and the next I get a message saying that FS2004 has to close and has to send an error report.

Somehow.. I'm hardly surprised

There is a reason for this AD. What sort of FS9 install do you have at present? Do you still have everything you don't need moved out of FS or do you have a full install? I have all the necessary files so I'll give myself a headache and try to replicate your crash.

EDIT pre post..
AD.. what error was reported?

I have a full install of FS2004. Didn't really catch what the error report said.
