Peter, I've cross checked on a spotter's site, and that front fuse/ cockpit is infact from a later Venom, which would make sense! Sorry for the confusion, I wouldn't be able to tell one from the other from the cockpit, but given it was your office for (some years?) I guess you remember it well

Lovely shots Toby. I've never seen the Aiguillon before, its quite a nice looking aircraft. Did it ever fly?

That fits Toby...Probably a Venom FB4 as the FB1s were still without bang seat...Here is one that I took of the FB4:-
That cock down in the left hand corner was to turn on or off the hydraulic power for the ailerons...The elevator was still cable driven
The FB1 would not have had that as all its controls were cable driven.
