Did fire up FS9 yesterday to test something. Looked cr@p

It all boils down to personal preference. FSX runs well (enough) on my pc but I think IT looks cr@p. I also refuse to sit indoors wearing a hat (only women wear hats indoors don't ya know!) or headphones with a sensor fitted attached to TrackIR so I can see around the default VC's! Might as well get an XBox or PS3.. even a Wii! Only thing is.. XBox/PS3/Wii users wouldn't touch FSX with a bargepole

So there! ;)

FSX, ESP & Prepar3D

Can't show any screenshots of how good FSX looks as the Management here have deliberately neutered to 1990 SVGA (800 x 600) to stop FSX looking better than FS9

Rick

ESP & Prepar3D What are those Rick? I still have FS9 and now just need the time to actually use it :S

Hi Tony

ESP is the commercial version of FSX
Prepar3D is Lockheed Martin's New version of ESP for use by the industry and allows Bathemetry (under water)

Basically just FSX but with some continued development
(not much yet!)

Rick

Cheers for the info Rick, out of my league then on both counts, required knowledge to use it and required funds to buy it

Are these full Prepar3d images? - http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showth ... 06&t=22052

If they are default then they look good against default FSX and from what they say it runs better than standard FSX but in terms of visual appeal they don't look as good as FSX can do with mesh/scenery and weather addons. Do FSX addons work with Prepar3d?
