Didn't Tonks buy a massive Startrek model last year (or get it for Christmas 2009?) - or am I losing it
Was he just practising for the A330?

Don't think it was Star Trek Ian.. more Star Wars.. in Lego. Unless I've lost the plot, I think it was the Millennium Falcon (if that's how you spell it)

It was indeed Star Wars and not Star Trek!!! Never been a fan of Star Trek...
I am not sure Voyager will be that popular with the crews as this thread shows what its gonna be like...
That said it is a nice jet (though not a VC10!!) Its by far the nicest of the Airbus family...

With all the current cuts perhaps the new aircrew uniform for the Voyagers will resemble the original 'Star Trek' kit. Coloured T shirts and RAF blue trousers tucked into surplus US Paratroop boots!
I bet the guy or gal responsible for RAF acft class names IS a secret Trekkie! Possibly in these days of 'jointery' from the RN or AAC!! An honest attempt to poke fun at the junior service - perhaps by a redundant Sea Harrier (or GR9) pilot or a failed Apache crew.

Thanks Dave - not been a fan of either so for me easy to get confused.
So no Wookies on the A330?

I'm sure a few people wouldn't mind if a few RAF Movements Corporals were issued red shirts
