There isn't a 2d panel, it's VC only :dunno:

That's no way to treat a Chipmunk. If I crashed and ended up with cheeks full of nuts, how would you feel?

Anyway fella's,

if you feel as insecure as I do without a panel, throw this one in and you'll feel quite at home. Until someone with more skill than myself does the right thing, it'll do. ;)

:-O :-O

I didn't see anything there suitable for the Beaufighter and I went up and down a page too *-)

Bottom line here.. if you really like 2D panels, stay in or go back to FS9.. you won't be alone :)

With the special coding etc built ito such a model...I'm not sure a third party 2D would work properly *-) :dunno:

I doubt it would tbh :worried:

You're right mate. Unless you're a wizard with hex (or even if you're not) you'd have to remove the VC part of the model.. not something I'd fancy doing but there are some clever folk out there :)

Quite often with third party panels, they appear to work in as much as the dials move etc and switches do something

However they often do not read correct values or activate systems fully :worried:

In order to establish if another panel did work would require extensive testing under all parameters and adjustments made accordingly.

In effect the more complex the subject model, the less likely any third party panel will work satisfactorily *-)

Well, the only "old fighter panel" on that page is for a jet fighter :-O

Nothing like spending months making a realistic VC with custom coded smooth modelled gauges & systems then chuck a generic 2d panel for jet on it 8)

I'm sure there are more suitable panels around, but as it has been said they may not work 100% correctly.
