Oh - a she you say.

Well... She should have been able to handle it. I've seen them do dozens of things while driving.
Putting on makeup , reading a book , eyes glued to the stereo. Painting finger nails AND toe nails . 8) shaving arm pits .... I kid you. not
Yapping on the phone. Texting on the phone. Eyes glued to the review mirror mushing their lips together.
Holding a video camera should be easy enough. :dunno:

That scared the heck out of me. Just shows how things can happen.

Driving upthe A3 a few years ago past Cobham when a Tipper lorry drove past at a great rate of knots. Lobbed a brick stuck between the rear double tyres straight through my windscreen intothe passenger seat. Fortunately I was the only person on board. Now for the good part the tipper firm coughed up for a new screen just on a phonecall. Very decent.

Should have asked them to clean the stain on the drivers' seat.

Apparently Videoing is common in Canada, for insurance purposes although I don't think handheld is legal!

There was a clip not too long ago where a truck lost it and smashed throuht the central barrier and the guy who caight it on tape missed it by a couple of feet:

Onto Scottish motorways (and roads in general) - they are a disgrace with the central reservations and hard shoulders littered with debris all ready to blow onto the carriageway. I don't know how the 'contractors' get away with it, as they are paid millions to maintain the roads. You could eat your dinner off English motorways by comparison.

Scariest I had was on the Edinburgh bypass when a box fell off a van - luckily I was far enough back to avoid it (just) but even luckier it was a cardboard box with paper and polystyrene, that was obliterated by about three cars running right into it - had it been anything heavier, I shudder to think.
