Hi Dan :)

Yes.. I know that feeling well. Good job I cleared my Visa before the wife saw it :worried: The EarthSim scenery really is very good.. you don't realise just how good until you see the default again which I did yesterday for the first time in a long time :-O

Hi Dave
I got it too :$ It's absolutely stunning. I fly along the coasts of the islands low level with Tolga Piskins SA342 Gazelle in Royal Navy Sharks scheme. I like the spray from the rocks. There's no other scenery I have so far with this effects. Yesterday I got surprised by the canons firing at a castle.

I look forward to the day of Guernsey ...

Longship Lighthouse (with landable helipad, apparently) is part of a big collection:
Nick Ryall - South West England Landmark Scenery

The readme.rtf file is dated 2004 so its pretty old. I don't know the name of the zip file, I'm afraid, and I have to dash out.

As the Borg say Dan.. resistance is futile  It's an excellent bit of scenery isn't it  I have Alderney and Guernsey and am waiting for the final piece of the jigsaw.. Jersey to be released. I get a fair frame hit off Guernsey but it was worth the 5hr download ;)

Hey thanks John, I will search for that. Maybe that's the reason for my double lighthouses.

I fear so. Sooner or later I want this Islands too. At least I have a good DSL connection. I can't imagine a product taking 5 hrs. But first I have to discover the Scilly's first. :excited:

That was a bonus too Dan. I only have 2mb broadband so thank goodness the EarthSim server was fast enough to keep it fully occupied.. ave download speed was something like 230kb/sec which is good for me ;)

Your broadband is obviously faster than 2mb then  I couldn't stand the strain of BB for The Scilly Isles.. DVD took the strain instead ;)
