I declined a free ticket from my bank to attend the opening to greet the Philippine entrants, the branch offering the ticket is in Earls Court pretty close to the stadium I think, the stopper is I am in Manila and it requires a 8 hour flight each way plus close to 1000 pounds fare just to get there.
It is a Philippine bank

I'm really looking forward to the Olympics now
I've just read that women's beach volleyball is on for 11 days

woohoo!
Now I just have to set up the sky box and get some bottles of beer in! Always been keen on sport, me.
