Good point Clavel9.What I forgot to mention was that it was good to see the late (Sir) George Edwards featured.A while ago I managed to get hold of a copy of his autobiography,which makes very interesting reading.EricT

A very good couple of programs. I watched the second program this afternoon and it struck me it missed out the Vickers 1000/VC7. I think this was a vital part of the story of (the demise of) British aviation.

As Sir George Edwards said, it was the biggest blunder of all.
