It's encouraging to know you haven't list touch with your inner caveman, Dave! They're lovely photos and what a gorgeous bit of countryside you have on your doorstep. Lucky man.

Mind you, you'll need the tranquility every so often when you start work :lol:

Indeedie.. it's nice walking out of the house and having that just a moment away. It started off as an exercise to take shots of where I fly but I never posted those shots :lol: To illustrate that a bit better, here's that area courtesy of Google Earth. A and B are flying areas (mainly B).. the swans are on the bank near the canal in area B and the Heron was by the smaller of the two bridges near area B :)

Glad I didn't try and go out this afternoon.. winter had arrived :( Had a couple of batteries through the Bixler on area B early AM though ;)
