I'm wearing them now mate

Like the dude Morpheus in the movie "The Matrix"
The nose pads being mounted on a thin Titanium wire acts like a spring and the pads are pinched onto my nose.
I've gotten a few compliments on them actually here in the Dunkin' Donuts this morning.
I'm quite stylish, you might say.
The frames are under warranty so -Nothing to fret over.

Hi Joe,
I had a pair of glasses like that. I broke mine showing someone that they didn't need hinges in the arms because they were unbreakable and ultra bendable. Was that embarrassing?
The arms were replaced by plastic ones that are breakable. One broke after several years due to "plastic fatigue". So the arms were recently replaced again. The lenses have also been replaced after the anti-reflective coating went manky. There's a good regional Britishism for you.
The only original part is the titanium bridge piece. I kept that so that I didn't have to buy new clip-on sunglasses that came with the original glasses. I then broke the sunglasses and had to replace them anyway.
In a way I've still got them.
