Clever jokes, you chaps!

Now...first member to correctly decode that message gets first pick at the next Abacus special!

I saw a funny readers response to this in the Daily Mail, it went something like "Allo allo, we 'ave two airmen hiding in the bedroom of my wifes mother" You have to say it in a French accent.

The previous pigeon probably had a message that read "Leesen very carefully, I will say this only once!"

That's funny but not nearly as funny as your first suggestion!

I wish I'd thought of that

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the update,

After all the jokes flying around its a shame the message could not be decoded as i think it will be one of those things that will never be solved.

Mind you that one from Joe Public that said the first two words said "Dear Santa" was very good but not very helpful!!

Roger.

Indeed mate.. thanks for the update. It just goes to show what a fine job those folk at Bletchley Park did doesn't it. You'd expect GCHQ, with all it's technical advancement be able to input stuff like this into a computer and have plain language spit out at the other end. Not so ;)
