To be fair I think there's a fast cat ferry from Northern France every hour so it's probably cheaper than using the French Navy...

What we should do is do what they'd do in our place.. get our fishermen to blockade the Solent in protest . Sadly, I doubt we have enough left to blockade Newlyn harbour let alone the Solent
