All light aircraft manoeuvres look unusual to me, Dave! I'm not a natural flyer

I've received your PM, thank you, and there's a reply in your inbox

Ian :)

Indeed,

Richard I vote for the last of the photo's displayed. I love that time of day when artificial light slighty overpowers natural light. Some settings make me wish it would hang on for longer than it does, which can be quiet quick.

Well done,

Joe

Ian.

Ian : with your interest in the ploughing engines etc. , have you ever read Landscape with Machines by Tom ( LTC ) Rolt ? It was a favourite book of mine which I lost at some stage, but I believe SH copies are still available , and it deals extensively and nostalgically with the history of steam powered ploughing / threshing machines before the mighty combine took over

Dave F : don't you still teach recovery from unusual attitudes, or was that only for the IMC/ IR ? Being a bit of a bastard, I used to go on to make them do it on limited panel, because if you can cope with that, you can cope with anything

These posts are going all over the place! At least everybody gets two goes at a comment and every one's a winner. All the fun of the fair! And very appropriate with all the shiny showman's engines on display

Chris - it took me about 30 seconds from reading your post to find and order a s/h copy of that book. Just what I need, methinks. I'm looking forward to it immensely. BTW, I have nothing but respect for anything Dave F can do. He's my hero

Ian :)
