Blimey I still have a Timex from 1983 when my wife temped at their offices in Ealing. Still works, keeps good time and cost £3.50.

Nice looking watch Peter would like one myself Trouble is with 30 years in the food industry where wearing a watch is a no no I've got out of the habit of wearing one at all

I lost my Timex camping some weeks back.

That looks like some cockpits.....too much info in such a small space. How in H**l does one read the time without a big magnifying glass, as It doesn't seem to have a HUD!

It also has 43 cities in the World and a spare one for the user to insert...I made that on PLZ (Port Elizabeth in South Africa, where a friend lives). You can select any of them on the digital display on the right and then as you near your destination, you press both buttons simultaneously and the displays swap with the hands moving quickly to your destination time and the digital swaps to your home...Then on the way home you can press the same two buttons and your home time is back on the hands. Another nice thing about this one is that Summer Time is automatically applied by the radio signal and that saves me the six-monthly chore of updating them manually as on my previous model.

The ring computer around the case is identical to my RAF Mark 4A Computer Dead Reckoning and with the red and black scales it is much easier to read than my previous all titanium one...I use that quite often in MS Flight on Jobs; mostly for ETAs
