Thanks for that update. I was aware of the fact that an Academic user would have to pay again when moving from 1.x to 2.0, but am a bit surprised that it also applies to the Professional version as well - ho, hum.

As a follow-on, do you happen to know what the situation is if you take out the Developer subscription, then terminate it at some point in the future - does the license require you to remove it altogether when you stop paying, or can you continue to use it while receiving no more updates ?

I believe once you stop paying the subscription it stops working, certainly when my old card expired I had to enter new payment details before it would run again. Which took me a while to figure out as I don't think the error message was that explicit.

OK, thanks for that - guess I'll stick with the simple Academic version. I was on the point of buying v1.4 when all this prep for v2.0 started, so will just wait a while longer.
