Ah yes but the only reason the motorists are stuck behind the cyclist is all the other motorists coming the other way stopping them overtaking.

That may well be true but the fact still remains
Put bluntly.. cyclists should be banned from highways

No Dave, cyclists may be problematic, but easily dealt with... Caravans, we should be able to buy guided rockets to remove their kind from the earth.

I'm sorry to have to repeat this, but having read the above:
I can't stand intolerance!

Indeed Mike and it's worth noting that the cyclist problem is not as bad as it's made out to be. As I've said Millions of times, don't exaggerate!!

Our local policeman, ...., whoops, sorry! Delete that. Patrols an area from Esher to Weybridge, mostly on foot. I questioned him about the problem of cyclists using the footpaths, and he told me that he ignores them. He feels that they are more of a problem on the roads, and are safer on the paths. A strange logic in that.
The weekend cyclists who dress like Bradley Wiggins, and pedal furiously along dreaming of a Gold Medal, are the most infuriating road users in my opinion. Overtake them if you dare. Or if you can!
ps. Sorry. What's that got to do with clocks going back?
