Well I've just purchased it, on install it tells me that all qualifying products cannot be found - that's funny I seem to remember installing them last night!

There also seems to be a distinct lack of install or setup options, my way or highway approach.

You might be able to contct them (there is a 'Contact Us' link) but I think they would just fob you off to JF's support. Might be wrong, though.

I've just watched the vid and looked at the screenies and there's a DISTINCT lack of red brick buildings. I think I saw 1!!!! Why oh why has the developer done this Perhaps it's been done just to wind me up

Yeah - I was looking at all the white houses going by and thinking "I know someone who is not going to be best pleased"

Wonder how this will clash with Treescapes as I've got all bar Vol.7 installed...?

Still concerned about the scale of the houses and buildings...

Have to say that the title sequence could be misconstrued as false advertising though. "Every tree... hedge... field... house..." Really?!?! Then why can you see obvious gaps on the photoscenery in the video where there are no buildings. Being petty? Yes, probably but don't make promises you can't keep please.

Revolution-X injects a comprehensive Autogen layer into FSX on top of photographic scenery such as Just Flight's VFR Real Scenery add-ons, placing millions of buildings, trees and hedgerows in their real-world locations across England, Scotland and Wales.

So, the houses are FSX autogen ones.

I very much agree with you, DaveM (see the phrase in my sig) - though I would still buy it, if it worked OK.

My wife has posted on JF forums to try and get some response, if not from JF then at least from anyone else who may have bought it.

I bit the bullet and bought it - after reading this reply from another customer, who has it working:

If you have a custom install of the VFR Scenery then Revolution-X won't find it. Mine is All-in-one, and it couldn't find it.

However, if you click on "Options - Expected Scenery Tiles" all the instructions are there. I followed them, started FSX, enabled the two new scenery areas and everything was there.

If you have a standard installation of the VFR scenery, and haven't renamed anything then there should be no problems.

And the burning question... does it work with P3dv2 ?

I'm thinking back some months when trying to get to grips with Instant SceneryV2. George Davison posted a shot of a quick 'autogenation' he'd done where I live and it contained very few white houses. Whether this was pure luck or the library he'd used for the autogen, I don't know. It's unlikely to have been by accident knowing George but that's the impression I got. I appreciate the default FSX world uses mainly white buildings but this looks like FTX England

I'd buy this in a flash but whether the buildings/trees e t c are accurately placed.. the 'outlook' looks very alien to the British Isles.. like being abroad but here if that makes sense.
