The scrapped aircraft was the former fire trainer...BAC One-Eleven 'G-FIRE' :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Nothing really...just ask, wait and keep an eye open...with all things, someone, somewhere knows...just have to find them :)

I posted the pic on Civilian Aviation

Within days someone posted the last two aircraft to be scrapped at that time, a 146 and this which I already knew had been broken up about that time.

Then a few days ago someone posted links to a pic he took of it in that position complete-ish about a month or so before and another from that same spot three days before mine, all broken up with just the centre body standing on it's main gear.

The windows and blue confirmed it. I had dismissed this as my pic seemed to show it EI- registered. I've seen many One-Elevens at Gatwick and Jersey but not one that looked like my pic...although Dan Air were close :-#
