Techy, I don't know what goes on the back of it, but Sigma's 150-500mm is 'only' £650. it's the 50-500mm that's the £1000 one. I think the 150-500 is supposed to be slightly the better of the two.
Don't suppose that helps much!
Best,
Myles

Hi Myles

This is my "dream" lens =

Not cheap is it ?

My photo's were taken on a Canon 650D with a Tamron SP70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD lens...heavy but does give some good photo's and isn't too bad under low light

I've always liked that 100-400 Canon lens too. Only abject poverty has stopped me buying it

Ah, that's what happens when you lust after L-series grey lenses! You'll only get it dirty anyway
I recently got the shorter range Siggy when I decided that my Tamron 70-300mm DI LD was a bit short and a bit soft, especially at the long end. Mind you it is the lightweight £100 version.
Nice photos by the way!
Best,
Myles

A new baby (at my age) a young wife (19 years my junior) and her wanting a second

Ohhhh and poverty does come into it I suppose
Tony
Myles I would happily get it dirty and thanks

Tony,
Wonderful selection of aircraft, must have been a great day out. (apart from the road traffic).
Love 'em all except those 109 bitzers, no offence, but I just don't like them.

No need to apologise for the quality.

Superb set of pictures

Especially like the formation of Tiggies and the brace of T7 IIAC "R" Robert....takes me back to RAF Gutersloh circa 1970
Best Regards

At the time 'Black 6' (G-USTV) crashed at Duxford, it was the only airworthy 109.. that is, a proper one with a Daimler-Benz engine. A check online shows there are now 3 in an airworthy condition.. 2 in the U.S. and 1 in Canada. The remainder are Buchon's and a great many of those, ex-Spanish Air Force

Engine cowls on the 109's are straight, or at least nowhere near as lumpy as the Buchon. All Buchon's have front ends like the ones Tony shot and no Me109's do to the best of my knowledge
