Gary, beautiful pictures! The lack of loads of traffic would really appeal to me. Take some pictures when you visit Finland. Thanks for sharing these!

Just out of idle curiosity, I checked out the FSX Freeware Scenery site for Latvia, and was directed to
www.lv-vacc.org I found it to be very interesting.

Thanks guys
Dennis...I must check that out when I get FS back up
Tony, thanks...it will be a while yet. Just arrived in Helsinki and won't be back in Valmiera until Mon week which is forecast to have heavy snow about then.
A big of a difficult trip as the Sat Nav failed

. Negotiation Tallinn and Helsinki was interesting. One high point was a Finnish Border Bell 412 that made a practice landing on our ferry.

Hi Garry,
I am very happy for you. you've come so far since the illness you suffered, I'm sure it must feel like a second life.
Thanks for sharing the photos of your new home. I'll enjoy seeing some nice snow pictures when you have the time.
All the very best.
Joe

Thanks Joe
Yes, an unexpected result from where I recently came from, a whole new life.
Presently staying 3 miles from Helsinki Vaanta International and half a mile from Helsinki Malmi.
I must sort some more pics out
In the meantime, here is a Riga Resident photographed on the first warm day in April...the first day the ground wasn't frozen.
I was walking along the street when he popped out...sniffed the air, looked towards the Sun and then settled in his favourite corner. I'm sure he was smiling

Hi Garry...I wish you many years of happiness in your new home.
One of your lovely pictures made a very nice 238 piece Jigsaw puzzle in my iPad:-

Nice one Peter
Thanks for your good wishes.
I have a Jigsaw creator programme...great fun when you want to do something a little different without taking over the living room.
