Fortunately.. when I met my better half, she was a Wren and stockings were very much 'in vogue'. Not that this had anything to do with anything you understand

Last time I saw it it was on a bulkhead further down the cabin (2010):


It used to be closer to the entrance door in an aluminium frame but I cannot find a photo of that in my collection. There are some others online though.

I'd like to say that's how I met the wife .....
