I did read a report some time back that they were a very friendly bunch. A pilot reported that by the time he taxied in, the tea was mashed. Fuel priced at £1.54 (incl VAT) according to the notice on the window.
Mashing tea.That's a term that I don't hear up here Graham.I'd assumed it was a Midlands term but it obviously it's also used in Yorkshire.My guess isthat it's less common among younger folk.
