Back home at last, until the next offshore jaunt anyway.
I can heartily recommend a week on board as a great way to lose a little weight, I'm 2 kilos lighter despite eating five times per day
Just to spice things up we had a real smoke alarm and my return flight was delayed one day due to bad weather in Jacarepagua.
The flight back was on an AW139, and what a beautiful bird that is. Big windows, comfy seats and a lot quieter than the Sikorskys that I normally fly on (S76 and S92). It handled the bumps around Rio better than the A319 I came back to São Paulo on too.
