Happy New Year everyone! The New Year, in my piece of Texas, was welcomed in with more gun fire than usual. Yikes! :hide:

A Happy, Healthy New Year to you all. ImageImage

I must b getting past it - opened a bottle of Glayva at 23.45 - toasted one and all at midnight - woke at 04.00 in my chair with three quarters of it left. :dunno:

Happy New Year all   :guinn:

Just got back to the hotel after spending the night on Copacabana beach in Rio, so please excuse any spelling mistakes :S

Great music, stunning fireworks and a wonderful atmosphere, not to mention a fair quantity of alcohol. Mrs AB is looking a bit fragile (and I doubt that I look much better) but our free bus passes are only a couple of years away, so that's not much of a surprise. Nothing a full English breakfast wouldn't cure though, if you could get one here.

Time for a couple of hours sleep before the flight back to SP this afternoon.

BTW, I had a Happy New Year text from her - she was in a seafood restaurant in Brooklyn at midnight UK time. :)
