Happy New Year everyone! The New Year, in my piece of Texas, was welcomed in with more gun fire than usual. Yikes!

Happy New Year all
Just got back to the hotel after spending the night on Copacabana beach in Rio, so please excuse any spelling mistakes
Great music, stunning fireworks and a wonderful atmosphere, not to mention a fair quantity of alcohol. Mrs AB is looking a bit fragile (and I doubt that I look much better) but our free bus passes are only a couple of years away, so that's not much of a surprise. Nothing a full English breakfast wouldn't cure though, if you could get one here.
Time for a couple of hours sleep before the flight back to SP this afternoon.

Whatever happened to Sting ? Did he become just too absurd ?
BTW, I had a Happy New Year text from her - she was in a seafood restaurant in Brooklyn at midnight UK time.
