Yes, I suppose you're right mate. It's a terrible shame though. I can almost see it touring places like Alaska, on camping/fishing trips. Maybe a fabulously rich colonial ( Airboatr, Fly Texas ) could pay to have it returned to the air.

Returned? It hasn't flown yet. If it blows off the restaurant roof, that would be its official first flight! ;)

The second photo shows the illegally flown 'FB-25' which was his first design. The PH-COR registration on that was never official. The other PH-COR (the low wing one) was his second design, this time in full compliance with home-building rules and such and as the photos show, it did cross to the UK at least once.
