Boy, would I love the chance to be on the fast taxi run but unfortunately all that bouncing around in the cockpit along the runway would be too much for my disability let alone get up the stairs. :((

Regards
Nigel.

If you ever visited Brunty Nigel, I'm sure with enough warning we could find a way to get you aboard to have a look around. You're probably right about the bumpy driving though! :)

Very many thanks Charlie, if I ever get the chance to go then that would be great. It was only when I viewed the video of the fast taxi run with Andy at the controls did I notice how bumpy it was for the crew, that runway certainly needs resurfacing!!

Nigel.

The runway isn't that bad - hit the sweet spot speed wise though and the '10 will taxi along like Tigger.

Hello Charlie, when you next do a fast taxi run in the VC10 any chance of you doing a video of it maybe from the pre-engine start?

Regards
Nigel.

Can't see why not, as long as we have the technology available. :)
