Tamnavulin? Sounds like you'd need a prescription for that, Graham!
(in my best TV ad voice) Ask your Doctor if Tamnavulin is right for you. Possible side effects include short term memory loss, blurred vision, sudden lack of coordination in the legs, singing in public, ... ;)

Graham had excellent tastes. :agree:
Referring to my well-thumbed 'Whisky' pub. Collins 2017 Tamnavulin is at Ballindalloch on Speyside, Scotland. The distillery was only built in 1966 but stopped production for a while .Their first batch from the re-opened plant was released in 2007.
My tasting notes simply state 'good & fruity' signifying that it disappeared down my neck, no problem. :guinn:
Cheers

According to my little book of Whisky, Tamnavulin was one of Whyte & Makay's brands. Distilled now at Ballindollach, Banffshire.

I've been nursing a bottle of Glenfarclas 105% which was given to me by an old friend. I just need a reason to drink it.

;)

I'm glad that you're enjoying it, Graham.
I see that they are a Phillipines based maker, founded in 1966.
There's globalisation for you!
According to my Malt Whisky Bible: -

Tamnavulin = The Mill on the Hill

Tomnavoulin, Ballindalloch,
Banffshire, Scotland, United Kingdom

My preference is Caol Ila. But, I do like Lagavulen.

I always have a cheaper bottle of Bowmore in the house.

Brian, I believe those living in the U.K. are not subject to the constant bombardment on the telly of ads for prescription drugs with mile long side effect listings as we are. Enjoyed your post though!
