That was exactly my thought when I first saw the scheme. A little garish, but I'm very proud that we finally have an official aircraft representing the UK. Other nations have similar, so why not us?

Absolutely! - I just think something a little less of a chav and a little more regal, but I'm all for it. Actually, just looking at some photos of ZE701 and I like the white with the navy/red cheat line. Now that with a Union Jack tail would have looked very smart indeed.
