The problem is that most of the titles are out of print, including Lance Cole’s earlier title and both of Scott Henderson’s books. That makes the Haynes manual the best option right now, unless you’re willing to wait a few months. Or you’ll have to pay a lot of money for a secondhand one...

I'll have a look round. There are an awful lot of second-hand and remaindered book shops in Cambridge, Norwich and London, so I might be able to find something. Motor Books near Trafalgar Square used to be the place to go, but they closed down a few years ago ( much to Jay Leno's consternation !). Thanks again for the info.

Keep an eye on the stock at the Aviation Bookshop: https://www.aviation-bookshop.com/ Simon usually has loads of secondhand books as well and he used to send out a list of secondhand stuff available a few times a year.

Edit: I see that he has one copy left of the VC10 Haynes manual, on sale at £10!

Apologies, I should have responded earlier. Thanks for this further information. Once Duxford reopens, I'll be paying the VC10 a visit - maybe they'll have something on her in the bookshop too.
