The 484's are converted London Underground D78 stock ( class D, year of manufacture 1978). Ex District Line.

I don't think any of those cameras are working at present, can't see any rain falling.
Actually, the windsock is moving a bit, but the reflections off the water don't move. Ah! maybe the sea is frozen?

I've found the rail cam at Crewe to be entertaining. The chat can be enjoyable, too.

Tried the IOW camera again, saw a hovercraft go and return.

Excellent find Brian, thoroughly enjoyed watching that.I've found the rail cam at Crewe to be entertaining. The chat can be enjoyable, too.

Just "wasted" half an hour watching trains on my PC. Beats the heck out of standing on cold platforms as I did in my youth, so much more civilised.

I put it on while I was working this evening, I'm in California so while its mid-afternoon here its after midnight when I started watching. Left it on in the background on a different monitor as background music. Was on for about an hour before I turned it off, probably saw 4 trains, amazed the number of people watching it, meaning anyone at all. Will try it again when there is a bit more activity.
