Am I being pedantic?
The real ship has a green hull and a massive "EVERGREEN" along its side.
The MSFS version is black with "CHINA SHIPPING LINE" emblazoned upon it.
I guess it's just a bit of quick fun and they weren't fussed about the details, but personally I would have done it differently. :|

Once upon a time, I would have laughed at this, along with everyone else. These days I'm still laughing, but not everyone else is. Never mind, at least we can now dismiss the silly Biblical prophesy - it's the Mummy's Curse after all. Far more rational. :wall:

Here I go again.
That news report said that the ship was stuck "perpendicular" 8)
Basic geometry failure. How do such people survive in this world?

Mike I’ve come across this before usually in articles originating in the US
so perhaps it’s accepted there to imply something at right angles i.e. 90 degrees to
something else( which the ship wasn’t). If there is any perpendicular style of architecture
in the US it must be quite interesting to see. May be our colonial friends over there can clarify. :) EricT

We tried it and it didn't work out very well.

But seriously, perpendicular has always meant 90 degrees to me. :agree:

Hi Brian. Perhaps what I should have said is that I meant perpendicular as in a vertical at 90 degrees whereas I have read articles where the writer has referred to something which lies 90 degrees horizontally to a vertical. :)
EricT
ps we can blame Mike for starting this! :agree:
