I looked for about two hours to find any kind of pricing
on a vickers vc9 aka "Vickers Vibrator"
the closest I came to was a vc10 (1000 series)
aka, Iron Duck, Vickers Knickers
(FYI) when the vc10 was being considered, viability of
production would require 80 units (i can't make the funny "L" symbol) at l1.5m per unit.
(aka pound sterling, irish punt, italian lira, turkish lira, etc.) or 2,786,147.28 USD.
I'll keep looking
I'm not up to the program as I am not familiar with the details

heck it's alll greek to me
Maybe I can help in other ways.

I'm still struggling to find the dry operating weight for the Vanguard, which is annoying as it's all we need to get it on FlyNet and flying!
Would this figure be listed under a different name in the tech spec I've been looking at?

Here you go Longhaul..
Vickers Vanguard Type 953
MTOW - 142,000lb/64410kg
MLW - 130,500lb/59190kg
Max Zero Fuel - 122,500lb/55560kg
These figures can change slightly depending on any number of conditions but are taken direct from the 953 Flight Manual so you're not gonna get much closer

I haven't got my Vanguard reloaded into FS9 yet, but I suppose it would make sense to use the basic weights and MTOW's that are in the 'change payload' section of FS9. In fact it makes sense to do this with all the acfts?

Sri John.. I missed the dry weight. Concur with your last statement though. The easiest way to check for any given aircraft is to zero cargo/pax and fuel and use this figure (although it will not be dry weight stricktly speaking)

It will however be as dry as you can get it!
