Hi Leif,
Damned unscrupulous aircraft brokers drain the tanks dry when we get a new aircraft delivered  . The first pilot to fly a new aircraft has to fill from empty and takes the hit on the big fuel bill, after that a 'normal' amount of fuel is left in the tanks.
Any pilot flying on fumes =

This is just the kind of thread we need guys, I've found the awnsers to quite a few niggly little points that were making the flying stressfull.

Here I am sat at Stansted in an empty Vanguard trying to refuel to get to Heathrow and then on to Stockholm. What am I doing wrong????
I am not going to cancel this flight even if I have to sit here all week how can 2000kg or even 500kg fuel be too much????

Hi Sean,
Make sure you have committed FS9 to 'Fly Now' and are sitting in your cockpit at the right airport with your game unpaused. I think you may poss still be in the 'create a flight' page of FS9 which is why you can't refuel your aircraft.

Hi Rick, Thanks, I was surprised at that amount, maybe the Swedish Chef's Conventions could be lucrative
You just can't help loving the old Vanguard, she's a beauty.
Cheers Robbie
