Hello Steve
good to see you back
I would give a guess that it was a very memorable
occasion, no doubt as it inspired you to photograph it.
an event perhaps not neccarily a place
A race?
I like the angle of location the photo was taken from
it allows for good a perception of what you saw at that time.
nice senery

Doesn't anyone follow F1?
Wish I could be there too, but I can't even afford to get to Indy for the GP of USA this year.
I figured it to be a F1 or CART race event. I'm not up to snuff
particularly on any of the open wheel series be it, F1, CART or
INDY. But I like them
There are a lot like aeroplanes, aerodynamically,
just in a backwards way,
Built NOT to fly

Hi Guys
Now after watching qualifying i am 99% sure Shumi did that park up deliberately to stop Fernando beating him to pole.
Brings back memories of deliberately outing Damon Hill in Oz many years ago.
Come on Shumi, play the game clean
I hope the FIA give him a 10 place penalty at least for his cheek.
he was obviously trying to look innocent in the after qualy beriefing.
I have never seen him look so guilty ever. :tuttut:
Regards
Rick

I didn't see that incident but agree on what you said about Shumi v Hill......and he tried that trick on Villeneneuve at the (I think) A1 Ring when he was about to lose out in the championship stakes?
I think Shumi would have lost out on pole to Alonso and he does appear to have a habit of doing something questionable that does not exactly breach the rules and regulations of F1 so as to give himself an advantage over other drivers.
Could this mean that he desperately wants the points and to beat Renault even using any Wacky Race Tactics (Oh.....How I loved that programme.........But not as good as Road Runner!!) Oooops - sorry....got carried away just then, in order to take the Championships so that he can retire with eight World Championships under his belt.....but not......... methinks........ all won fairly and squarely!
