I tried the TU-154 but couldn't get it to start, but I am a lazy person when it comes to reading the manuals.

I do. I started in the very early days of FS when very few Russian aircraft were available.
What I admire most is their lateral thinking when it comes to innovation and their complete disregard for "accepted" FS limitations. Russian aircraft designers' attention to detail never ceases to amaze me.
The latest beta version of Project Tupolev's Tu-154 even has animated flight crew with the flight engineer reaching up to manipulate switches on the overhead.
Their flight dynamics and sounds (including crew callouts) are also extremely well done.
I seem to fly little else these days.

There is something about Russia I love, although I have never been. They seem to have a lot of good ideas, but never the resources to develop them. There abilities in FS is second to none. Can you recommend any good scenery for te country? I had some before but lost it in a crash.

I have now got two Tu134s and a Tu154 installed. I must say the 154 is my favourite. I have now found the manual and by 2008 I might have figured out how to start the APU
I havent recalibrated my joystick yet or set another elevator trim button, but I can see that for realism and attention to detail, not a lot comes close to it

I can't seem to find the Il 82. Do you have a link for that? A VCtenski would be right up my street!
