Hi Toby
On their forum they have a few getting that message.
Windows 2000 and/or older PC's seem to be the problem.
If you have 512 mb of memory, Windows XP & a reasonably recent graphics card you should be ok.
What is your PC spec (No poor Student Excuses either
)

Thanks fot the heads up.
Tried it and rather liked it but as a sailing nut, I was soon bored with pointing it in the required direction and opening the throttles.
Quite (very?) heavy on resources, so I suppose that confirms the Microsoft connection.

Graeme, if you like sailing, then I'd suggest Virtual Sailor. That's what that program is geared to.

XP2800+, 768mb RAM, ATi 9600SE, WinXP SP1. Cant do "poor student" excuse any more but can do "poor unemployed person" excuse

What version of the ATI video drivers are you using?.
Catalyst 6.5
DirectX 9c is current
i would try the latest video driver before i gave up.

I'm about to replace my graphics card anyway. For ages I used the drivers it came with and it was fine. Then in an effort to try and improve my FS performance and try to get anti aliasing working (like it used to with my old NVidia), I installed the latest ones but then machine went totally nuts and hardly anything worked. I found a driver that did work and fixed most of the problems I had caused apart from terrible delays and flickering when bringing up any menus or changing screen mode whilst in fs2004 :sad:
You're probably right and I think I'll wait until I have a new card!

Hi All,
First Off, Rick, you are right about my name, It is indeed James.
As for the Specs, I tried it on my laptop, which is 1.3ghz, 512mb ram and 32mb gfx and it didn't run at all well, but Im hoping my desktop 1.8ghz, 768mb ram and 256mb gfx will run it a bit better.
I wasn't aware about the water textures, but you (Rick) could be on to something about it trying to emulate the look of Flightsim.

Tried it, and liked it, but not enough to buy it. Not really my cup of hot beverage.
Did like the zoom effects, very neat.

Being a Titanic nut, that looks great! Seems rather spooky though! Love the environment to. May buy it if we have ports closer to home, and there is a way you can explore the entire interior of the ship, especially the Titanic in all her glory.

You're probably right and I think I'll wait until I have a new card!
New drivers aren't optimized for older graphics cards so it's best to stick with the older driver sets.
