Engine failure (LH) Viking AHOR.. 99.4% enroute Northolt - Jersey. No diversion.. aircraft and pax arrived safely EGJJ. In fact, my pax are disappointed if they don't get a failure of one sort or another!!
Off to see if I can break a Trislander now!!
Incidentally.. that was a FlyNET 'pat on the back' for completing my 400th flight!
Viscount BFZL EGNX-EGJJ. Main gear failure. The model doesn't recognise the hand pump, therefore I had to either go for it or abandon the flight. Unfortunately despite a decent touch (or should that be scrape ) down, the sim did its usual and the aeroplane is still not at rest; tossing and turning on the golf course at Les Mielles. Flynet hasn't recognised the flight is finished, however it has pointed out that I switched the landing lamps off when killing the electrics Nice one. Not.
Wild one for sure Fraser. I keep thinking every next flight I'm going to get one too as it's been a fortnight now. Knowing my luck, it'll be in the already uncontrollable Trislander
Just wondering if Flynet works in sequence - One of our guys had a gear failure last night in a 1-11 - (That was at 99.7%) maybe in just goes around anyone whose is flying in a specific time band and hands out gear failures, engine failures etc etc
Could be Leif  Anyone had a flap failure yet?? Having had a main gear failure and what seems like a zillion engine failures, surely I must be up for a flap failure at some point!!
Making my last leg, FlyNET failed 2 engines and draining the fuel from those tanks ended up with all engines failing. Loaded 7000 KG of fuel, FlyNET shows I burned 7000, but I've never seen a Vanguard burn that much fuel in 2 hours of flight.
